*The Purpose of Blogging*

Blogging is a great way to express your feelings by writing small essay-like blogs. Blogs are in a sense like journal entries, but not quite like diaries because diaries are personal and anyone in the world can read blog posts and comment on them. Therefore blogging can be used as a communication tool.

By posting a blog you are slowing the whole world to read what you have to say. If you really need to get something off of your mind or something along this line. Blogger.com is the place to do it. Blogger doesn’t force you to put your actually name it just asks for a user name, and anything can be put in, so the blogger can stay anonymous is he/she pleases, which is really cool because it gives people the chance to say much more than what they would if they had to put their real name. I think that if you had to put your actually name that there would be way less bloggers on the internet. Anyone has the ability to comment on a blog post. And then people can create a conversation by reading blogs and posting comments back and forth. One could go into great detail with anything. You could randomly write about anything or anyone.

I don’t know who blogs, apparently a bunch of people do though. So many people do it because you can be as random as you would like to be. I would have never got on the blogger website and blogged if it wasn’t for the assignment, but now I really like blogging. When reading an anonymous blog you never know who it could be. For all we know we could be reading the blog posts of our next-door neighbors.
